Who should NOT buy DC Villain
Top 1% in Adidas Busenitz famous skate brand Vans Slip-On Aug 3, 2019.
A friendly DC shoe for your feet
One of the best things we encountered in this shoe is its slipper-like comfort which we were able to revel in all day. We realized that what also added to the overall comfort was the well-padded collar and tongue.
Cross country shoes out of the DC Villain effortlessly
It is easy to put it on and off, and we never had a difficult time doing so. The slip-on design made this possible.
It is cushioned and lightweight, but we find the cushioning insufficient
We have nothing but praise for the DC Villain's lightweight construction. Even the EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning.
However, we are not thrilled that the shoe does not have enough cushioning.
Breezy even during summer
The sneaker is lined with mesh for ventilation and we can actually attest to the breathability of the shoe.
Not for all kinds of surfaces
The rubber outsole features DC's signature Pill Pattern tread, which by the way, provides excellent durability.
However, despite its rubber outsole, we found that the DC Villain has poor traction.
Unique style for each colorway
There are three color options for the DC Villain: white with a perforated upper, black/camo print with a camouflage heel accent, and black print with an all-over printed DC logo detailing.
We noticed that its neutral color scheme and moccasin-inspired stitching around the toe give the shoe a dressy appeal, which we also confirmed to suit both formal and casual outfits.
We like the DC Villain's trendy and casual style; we had fun styling it with different clothes, such as shorts or jeans.
DC Villain also has a slightly formal look, which we thought was perfect for work or other formal occasions.
