Even after our test hike there was no sign of abrasion or wear on the outsole. Unfortunately, this boot is not suitable for hikers with wide feet. Our measurements of the toe box showed that it tapers absurdly to 69.6 mm, 7 mm narrower than average. Hikers with wide feet or those who like wiggle room for their toes may want to look at other options.
