The race, held by High Tide Runs in Santa Monica, California, took place on New Year's Eve, and the drummer had some special support from the sidelines.

Kourtney Kardashian Barker was on hand to cheer him across the finish line at Santa Monica State Beach. Afterward, she reposted Barker’s Instagram stories commemorating the event on her own page.

“Ending 2023 with a bang 🥇,” Barker wrote in the caption for his post on Instagram, which depicted him showing off his medal.

Barker finished with a gun time of 2:12:22 (10:06 mile pace) and ran in a pair of On shoes, James Corrigan Makes the Olympic Team.

He ran the race under the name Clarence Worley, a reference to his favorite film, True Romance, which he also used as the theme for his wedding to Kardashian in 2022. His daughter, Alabama, is also named for Patricia Arquette’s character in the film. Barker appeared no worse for wear after the race, partying into the evening with Kardashian in anticipation of the new year. Kardashian shared more photos of their New Year’s Eve dinner set up on Instagram, including a table set with party hats, candles, glasses, and plates with a heart and cross.

After the race, Barker took to Instagram again and appeared to show off another tattoo he got on the back of his head to celebrate his race finish.

If 2024 holds more races for the rocker, we hope he has space left for his next bit of ink.
