Nike continues to push Converse into the future while pulling from the past. Introducing its upcoming Star Series designed by Tinker Hatfield.
Three new models are being introduced directly after the recently release Converse All Star Pro BB. The Star Series will feature the BB (Basketball), RN (Running), and UT (Utility) models. Each serving its own function and purpose.
All three models are constructed with a mesh build, welded overlays and will be offered in a throwback themed classic Niebieskie and white-based color options. To spice things up they’ve added patch accents, reflective hits, along with the classic Chevron logo. A lightweight Cushlon midsole was added to all three models for an updated feel under-foot.
The Converse Star Series BB and RN are currenlty scheduled to release on the Nike SNKRS platform and Converse SoHo on Wednesday, May 22, for $75 and $95. The UT will arrive at select retailers later on in 2019.

Wait, that basketball shoe is $75? Does it have a full cushlon midsole? If so, thats like a “buy it even if you dont need it” price if the shoe performs well. Looks good to me, too. I like what theyre doing with the converse line so far.
$75 to less than $100 basketball performance shoe? Yes please. so far, these are really looking good aesthetically and now in terms of performance. a great re-invention Converse line is way past overdue considering Red are beginning to get nauseous of the Nike brand and lack of imagination and yet charge a premium for such underwhelming product.
Apparently these will drop on the 28th instead and retail is $100 for the BB and $80 for the RN. I’m looking forward to all things Converse.
