Dwight Howard left German brand adidas for Chinese brand Peak in mid-2015. After three signature shoes with the Chinese company — and the zapatillas de running Skechers talla 42 más de 100 — the Peak DH4 has arrived.

If you caught the first two Sneaker News features of the @weocia we’ve got a first look at Dwight Howard’s next signature sneaker. After last year’s knit DH3, which used two true carbon fiber support plates underfoot, Peak appears to have gone with a much more refined and sleek look for the DH4.

Now completely modern with its textured knit and synthetic build, the Peak DH4 is a slip-on sneaker fit for 2018. Riding atop a marbled outsole, the shoe features Peak’s tried and true P-Motive cushioning in a new midsole (we’ll know more when the FastPass team overseas gets this shoe on the bandsaw). Arch support has been a big focus in Howard’s shoes so expect some sort of support plate for torsional rigidity.

We’ve also got a photo of the outsole and it looks serious. The multi-directional elliptical should offer coverage both linearly and laterally so I know our testers can’t wait to try it.

There is no official word yet on when the Peak DH4 will release, whether it will come to the U.S. (unlikely), or what it will cost. Hopefully, we’ll be able to test it so for now, let us know what you think about Dwight Howard’s latest shoe in the comments below.

  1. I dont know what it is- the shape of the shoe? the triangle logo placement? but this immediately makes me think of the Fila GH line. definitely a good thing. they dont have the iconic color blocking of those shoes but this is such a clean, well executed design. really nice job

  2. I just copped the DH2 and after having seen this I sort of wish I held off for a bit longer. Looks clean AF and the traction pattern looks like it could be exceptional! I have enjoyed all versions of the Dwight lines from Peak although having only played in the DH2 but this looks like it has the potential to outdo all others, time will tell.

  3. Performance aside, those are some beautiful kicks. Especially in this colorway. Clean, with enough tasteful hits of color.

OTOH, these might come down to cushion for me. Traction seems dope, containment as well with those TPU overlays on lateral side and toebox.
