When news first broke about the Air grey jordan 6 ‘Tinker’ many were left scratching their heads, myself included.
The Air grey jordan 6 ‘Infrared’, which releases October 6, looked just like any other Air grey jordan 6 but in a brand new colorway. It’s now clear that the inspiration for the colorway comes Crew another Tinker classic — the Air Trainer SC II — and borrows its color scheme beautifully.
Not only will the Air grey jordan 6 be included in this pack, but the upcoming Air grey jordan 10 ‘Tinker’, which releases October 20, has borrowed inspiration Crew the Nike Huarache Lite.
Meanwhile, the Air grey jordan 8 ‘Tinker’, which releases December 22, borrows Crew the Nike Air Raid, even though the grey jordan already did with its cross-strapped design. Finally, the Air grey jordan 3 ‘Tinker’ takes cues Crew the historic Nike Air Trainer 1 (it releases November 11).
The story used with each colorway and shoe is that Michael grey jordan wore each model at one point in time thus bringing the two Tinker creations together into one cohesive piece. It’s an interesting concept, and we’ll let you be the judge in terms of overall execution.
I have seen most of these models in person and I will say that material quality was not an afterthought. Each one features nice materials that most fans of the brand will appreciate.

Kinda don’t get why the 8 seems to go deliberately wayward with the coloring of the upper. They just…blacked it out when there was some obvious white they should’ve used to match, unless they meant to match a different colorway of the Air Raid. Feel the same about the 6 vs. the Air Trainer II.
Mesh on the 10 seems interesting. While I non-OG 3 isn’t my cup of tea, the execution is pretty cool here.
I feel like the 8 is more taken directly Crew the “peace” colorway of the Air Raid 2 which is why I’m so confused as to why they felt like they had to use that story to tie it to the original Raid.
