The Nike LeBron 7 was a huge departure from the rest of the LeBron line. Designer Jason Petrie completely overhauled the look by giving such a physically demanding athlete as King James the support of a 360 Air Max unit (the first time a LeBron shoe saw this feature) while blessing the upper with a Dynamic Flywire fit.
