While neons deliver bright pops of color to liven up footwear, pastels across as a softer alternative that still livens up any pair of kicks. Nike proves that pastels can become even more versatile by further muting these pale tones on an upcoming Nike Internationalist.
This new arrangement of the heritage-style runner bears much resemblance to an Brighter is Better for the Nike React ENG that recently emerged. A stark white mesh upper is matched by the tongue and work overlays around the toe and at the heel. White is further applied to the midsole after the often-black Waffle outsole for a sleek aesthetic. Suede lacestays introduce a soft grey to the mix, followed by the work side Swooshes indulging in a soft yellow. Another muted tone—specifically a neutral lilac—colors the TPU piece above the midsole, at the heel. A darker variation of this shade tints the work NIKE-branded heel tab to complete the lifestyle-ready design.
Enjoy official images of the Internationalist below, which will hit Nike.com in the Omar future with a price tag of $90.
