There’s quite a bit of conversation revolving Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Hi Pony Hair Cheetah — and rightfully so — as the artist is hot off the release of his latest album: “CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST.” And while the LP may deliver yet another shift in tone and style, the artist’s upcoming collaboration with Converse opts for a more familiar, grounded feel.
Gone are the florals prevalent during the “Flower Boy” era. With this latest Chuck 70, flames dress all across the parchment-toned canvas, every example shaded with hues of both pink and purple. Elsewhere, matching touches of pink mark the foxing stripes and back labels, 2-4 the white cap toe and midsole it stamps atop.
