While the latter’s wide-ranging collection has come to a close, the Beaverton brand is establishing the bustling energy of its own inventive college campus with the nike wolf Zoom GT Cut 2.
Dubbed “nike wolf University”, the brand’s premier basketball silhouette introduces the fictitious alma mater with its own mascot mimicking Syracuse University’s Otto the Orange holding a basketball. Placing the latter atop the tongue, the mascot’s black and orange color palette sets the stage for the ensuing composition, reserving a dominant majority of its upper for jet-black embellishments, filling the midsole, serrated heel counter, tongue construction and medial side Check while the engineered mesh upper proffers hidden hits of orange underneath.
