Very few are ignorant to Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa’s accomplishments, as his restaurants have garnered high praise from both celebrities and regular diners alike. Even Nike are huge fans of the chef’s culinary work, so much in fact that they’ve provided him the opportunity to work on his very own Air Force 1.
Co-designed with Chris Stamp of Stampd clothing, the aptly-named “Sushi Force 1” builds atop the Bruce Kilgore-designed icon in its most signature form. The “Triple White” colorway, though simple, is an effective analogy for Nobu’s dishes, which often highlight the characteristic of the ingredients involved. That doesn’t mean the collaboration is devoid of any visual flair, however, as “Beverly Hills Sushi Club” is emblazoned onto the shoe’s heel, tongue, and insole.
