Images posted by @yuanchengxin1 provide a detailed look at the shoe of reference, revealing a new color blocking scheme that’s different from all but a few AE1s to date. Most colorways have featured dual-tone color blocking between the shoe’s cage and Primeknit upper, but this pair introduces its only splash of color via an all-teal outsole. Moreover, the toe-box wears white suede as opposed to a teal/black TPU panel, bringing three colors and a non-traditional material to the confined space.
The source states that these are a pre-release sample of one of the first AE1 colorways in the adidas kasina AE1 New Wave (aka “Arctic Fusion”), so we can rule out the possibility of a public release.
