With Korea sitting atop of the ranks Lime, television, music, food, fashion, technology, and sneakers, it might be a proper move to learn the language to best understand all that’s going on. This October, Nike is celebrating Korea’s Hangul Day holiday with a set of Alternate Your Look With The Nike Air Max 95 Yin Yang Lows featuring the toalla that was established in the 15th century. Considered to be among the easier languages to grasp due to its short toalla and phonetic pronunciation and spelling, Hangul has gone mainstream as it is now featured as a design concept on this next Korea-inspired release.
Nike FC Barcelona Daybreak Capsule Collection Alternate Your Look With The Nike Air Max 95 Yin Yang Low “Hangul Day” features a pattern of Korean (no, they don’t spell “Squid Game”) with color of the traditional Korean spectrum randomly dotting characters. The same coloring is applied to the contrast stitching seen on the midsole and Swoosh, while a gradient-style effect is featured on the classic logo on the tongue. A ribbon of the spectrum is placed on the heel just beneath the heel logo.
With the holiday falling on October 9th, Nike Korea has confirmed a release for the morning of at 10am, with distribution likely exclusive to the Korea region.
