Saucony is unquestionably a running-focused company, but the Massachusetts-based brand has a rich history in other sports.

Hyde Industries, the company that purchased Saucony in 1968, incorporated ski boot technology on the Sonic for ankle lockdown. An Achilles Notch at the spine offers flexibility for high-intensity performance. Underfoot, a rubber cupsole rounds out the Sonic retro, which returns in original white, blue, and grey styling.
