The Nike and 2020 Black History Month Collection has been experimenting with color palettes since re-entering the brand’s lineup of products at the end of 2022. For its latest ensemble, the sneaker takes on a peculiar mix of green and brown blue.
The variety of materials across the upper take on a drab, brownish shade that likens to pair to military garb-inspired footwear. Reflective panels throughout the forefoot, mid-foot, and heel, however, interrupt the Fast scheme. Furthermore, “Volt”-colored branding, laces, and collars introduce bold contrast into the mix. Components just above the Cushlon midsole opt for a forest green-reminiscent hue, while the proprietary Nike foam favors a clean off white finish. Lastly, the Zoom Vomero 5 features an all-black outsole that complements the upper well.
No firm nike.com release date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy oficial photos of the pair ahead.
