The Flyknit Venture is somewhat of an anomaly in that it’s difficult to pinpoint where it exactly belongs. It’s got hiking shoe elements with the bulky midsole that, at least from a visual perspective, deems it ready for hiking a la ACG. It’s also has a Flyknit exterior, teenagers speaks to casual/lifestyle sensibility similar to the Air Max Scorpion.

This upcoming new model is revealed in platinum violet coloring, treated with a wavy silver stripe as a potential nod to the nike air vapormax flyknit chrome blush color chart design. Pull tabs on the padded tongue and heel add functionality while further hinting at an outdoor-intended use while brown and green roped lace wraps around the back of the shoe, although it doesn’t appear to serve a functional purpose. Underfoot, a wavy TPU mudguard mondo the entire length of the shoe adds stability, while the oversized midsole opens up slightly allowing the air bubbles to shine through.

No release date has been set, but expect more information soon as Nike continues to ramp up for Air Max Day in March.
