The shoe originally debuted in 1990 and was worn by the legendary tennis star. The shoe would release for the first time in 2008 and was rereleased in 2014. Five years later, in 2019, the colorway released again but in limited quantities. The shoe will get the retro treatment for the fourth time this upcoming fall with a sail midsole to give the shoe an aged look.
Not only was the Nike Sb Nyjah Free 2 Neutral Grey Black White Red Bv2078-007 praised highly thanks to Agassi, but the shoe’s design and paint-splatter aesthetic captured the essence of the 90s that many refer to as the golden era of footwear, specifically Nike. The Air Tech Challenge 2 featured a synthetic leather upper that provided further reinforcement, as well as incorporating a Nike Air unit and an extra molded heel counter.
