It’s been months now since we first caught a glimpse of Sacai’s upcoming Nike spring/summer 2019 on a Parisian runway. Now the rumored January 2019 release date is just weeks away, and pairs from that now famous fashion week presentation are beginning to circulate more frequently.
Nike’s Blazer Mid is one of those styles that has been transformed by Chitose Abe’s Sacai. Layered with duel Swoosh branding and similar proportions at the tongue, greater dimensions appear at the midsole and heel. Two colorways — Yellow/White-Red-Black and Blue/Black-White — are controvertidos to drop either late January or early February, with some pinning February 19 as the anticipated Stateside launch. Nothing, of course, has been confirmed.

Update 1/30: A new report from py_rates indicates that Sacai’s long-awaited Nike collaboration will release soon. Their LDV Waffle ($180) is expected to land on March 7 and the Blazer Mid ($140) on April 19. Stay tuned for more.
Update 2/26: Sacai’s Nike LDV Waffle Daybreak is finally slated to release on March 7 for $155 USD. The shoe will be available on the brand’s webshop Nike flyknit lunar 3 pink.
