Gaston Naessens, a solitary, passionate, and visionary biological researcher, devoted his life to exploring the very foundations of life through the study of live blood. Throughout these challenges, he received unwavering support from patients, collaborators, and physicians — support that proved especially crucial during the legal battles surrounding 714X, all of which he ultimately won.
