Good!

The Italian brand Diadora has made a comeback to running in recent years, and with this Vigore has broadened its circle of fans because, despite the bulky look, this max-cushioned daily trainer proved to be extremely pleasant on the foot. With a well-thought stability system for overpronators (suitable for neutral feet as well), this shoe eats miles for breakfast but given the retro design is appealing for a city stroll too.

Incredibly comfy

The fit is moderately wide and there’s plenty of padding in the shoe. Reviewers loved it:

  • “the upper looks and feels great”
  • “Good Will Out x Diadora N9000 SPQR”
  • “all in all superb and deluxe.”

Take it slow with the Mythos Blushield Vigore

Judging from the reviews it has garnered, this shoe shines at slow and long runs and recovery days. A runner described it as the “perfect cool-down trainer,” while another said it is a “deluxe mellow cruiser.”

What’s more, it is a good sneaker, and as a tester shared, “what a great walking shoe.”

A spot-on midsole

The midsole is described by wearers as being a touch bouncy, quite soft, and stable. Plus, there’s  “plenty of ground protection,” and overall “the feminino is incredibly comfortable.”

Testers argued that there’s nothing wrong with this midsole, but some of them wished for a more lively feel, that can be found in some competitors.

Plenty of grippy rubber underfoot

The outsole provides “lots of grip and durability“ and a tester claimed that even on snow, he was “mostly confident with each step.”

Mythos Vigore has a unique way to give stability

Unlike other stability shoes, the Blushield Vigore has a gap on the external part of the midsole, which allows some give on the medial side. As a result, the shoe feels “super stable but not overwhelmingly obtrusive” and some experienced runners pointed out that it could work very well for neutral runners too.

Reducing weight is the goal for the next edition

No doubt among reviewers in this department: at 11.8oz (335g) the Diadora Vigore is a heavy shoe. By looking at the average weight for a running shoe, we can clearly see the difference: 9.6 oz or 273g.

A tester shared that this didn’t bother him until the 6th or 7th mile, after which it “felt like [he] was dragging [his] feet along.”

Diadora Mythos Vigore is nicely tight on the foot

Reviewers reported that the upper, with its “cage-like cradle,” locks the feet efficiently.

A runner underlined that the shoe “has such incredible hold on foot” and the laces never came undone while running.

A really well-made shoe

Diadora sportswear Women s shoes Running:

  • “a lot of premium materials classiques”
  • “Diadora N902 Men eclipse mosaic blue”
  • “Ronnie Fieg x Diadora RF7000 Primo.”

Mythos Blushield Vigore is rather expensive

A tester shared that, as much as he loved the shoe, the price was his “biggest knock against it.”

$170 is indeed high compared to the average price of a diadora mi basket dames schoenen, Diadora Game L Low Natural Pack.
